Task

The Radio Advertising Summit is the annual peak of the industry’s top decision-makers in advertisement and radio economy. WESOUND was assigned by Radiozentrale e.V. to design the new brand and event sound for the summit.

Approach

We designed a system consisting of multiple sounding elements that can be used in all kinds of media: The sound logo and jingle reinforce brand recognition that ultimately create the sound identity of the Radio Advertising Summit. Specially designed sound elements like ‘gong’, ‘stage intro’ and ‘stage cut’ represent the framework for the live event. They announce the official start of the conference, introduce speakers on stage and signalise programme transitions. The jingle itself has been arranged into background music to support event videos.

Result

By following the implementation of brand sounds in all media, Radiozentrale e.V. strengthens ‘Radio Advertising Summit’ as a brand identity and structures noticeably one of the most important radio events in Germany.

A central topic being discussed at the Radio Advertising Summit 2019 was the growing importance of audio for brands. Against this backdrop, we are very happy about the new brand sound that strongly supports the event as brand. The brand and event sound created by WESOUND provide the event with a unique feature that acts as an on-site guide to lead the audience through the program. Even beyond the creation of our brand sound, the cooperation with WESOUND was extremely fruitful and pleasant since they were able to contribute a plethora of inspiring impulses and ideas to the topic of audio.
